(BTW - how do you start a new thread on SI) Would anyone be interested in forming some kind of organization, where each member pays in, say, $25/month, to fund one or more representatives to travel to those briefing meetings relevant to an agreed upon basket of stocks, and feed us alerts in real time by pager? I'd like to nominate REH, for one - hope he'd be willing. For every 100 members, this would provide $2,500/mo for expenses. Bernard

Guess stockholders think neutral means sell????? MS said that rmbs had reached their target of $ 110.00 - well right now its 16% or $ 15.00 off their target. Should they upgrade it then??? Tomorrow and Thursday will probably be light but we might get some new momentum from Yahoo, Intel and Seagate all beating earnings by a wide margin. The Acer news just drowned - it was significant news! reh/strong buy - 12 month target of $ 225.00

mid to low 80's are possible It seems to me the very same thing happened in tech stocks last year. January started good, had a slump, and then roared for a couple of months before settling down (and tanking again in August). We've just entered the tech earnings season and it looks good. Rambus is still a junior member of tech with a lot of promise but not a lot of results. In six months the results are are going to begin to matter, I have a lot of confidence they will be good and the future will be bright. I think this January thing is a game played by the big investors. It's kind of a On your Marks... Get Set! .... NOT YET! thing that we did when I was a kid to get some to jump the gun and throw off their timing. TP
