see my last message. I apologized to Steve - there are in fact no presario notebooks in anything but the 1800 series. When I was out shopping last week for a system for my daughter, there were a bunch of notebooks at my local store - they are all gone.

so much for the 'channel stuffing' theory...

Shawn: I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I do NOT think CPQ is clever. It sounds like they're a bunch of idiots to me. I meant that a least they weren't stupid enough to call someone on a customer satisfaction survey when they hadn't even shipped the computer yet. I do NOT think that Steve's experience is funny!
