Because the fathers go to work thats why. Statistics have even shown this to be true... when there is an only child or a family with only daughters, they become successful. They are less successful with boys in the family. If both parents work its not an issue. Im not sure what the effect on the kids will be if they grow up in a common scenario I see today - where BOTH parents dont work because they are retired. Ill bet it affects the work ethics of those kids.
