For the added $700-900M in DBCC's market cap to be justified by their ownership interest in Marketwatch, the market cap on opening day will have to be near $2B. If its not, then DBCC will move down to whatever point the two of them equilibrate. So, an investor in DBCC has to ask themselves what is the probability that the market cap will be over $2B and how much over, versus, what is the probability it will be under $2B and how much under. It seems pretty clear to me what the risk/reward ratio looks like...

I think that this stock's price is a perfect example of greed overpowering logic....
