<<bidder wanted more shares than I was offering, I'd get killed this way.

Is there no all-or-none order type on ISLD? Would that explain it? Or is that not allowed.

FWIW, I tried without success to *call* Schwab at 4 am. Stayed on the phone over 20 minutes. To get through today took 8 minutes. The web site would not process my order. So the little outfits like MB were not the only ones effectively down.

In 1987's crash, my trades were 2 hours out of sync with the market, going through schwab. Not good when you are riding market puts and trying to call the bottom.

Be very careful getting in a situation on margin right now where you have to have fast turn around times. This market is very volatile, toppy too. IMHO of course.
