IMO, near term amat's share price will be influenced by the spin put on intc's statements by the media, whether accurate or not.

Sounds good, it just might create an unexpected buying opportunity. ;-)

I thought some articles said Intel was going to keep cap. spending flat? So why did this news article say $3 bill from $4 bill?

Second isn't the big driver of cap. equipment the result of DRAM producers?

Any thoughts?
