Sometimes, yes,I do---but I first do a quick study to see if I feel confident that they will move the next day at the open--and that is the hard part---actually in the list in question I have not done this---but only scanning to see if there are any that I really like
after doing a quick study to put on a watch list of potential goodies----thus far regards this list I have only isolated two that I want to keep a close eye on,that being PILT and ELON.
BTW,curiously CNKT did not turn up on wallstreetcity.com volume/price top 25--so it is not there---if I had seen CNKT I would have risked a position for a gap-up--and quick exit--CNKT will be interesting to watch tomorrow--bu this kind of scan will turn up early warning gap-up gems--SKYM and NAVR are two cases that come to mind---
and I entered another stock several days ago from this scan, that being
RDL,which has turning up quite a bit.Good Luck,Max By the way,MarketEdge has another useful scan, that is more subtle than this,
that is based on just >20% extra volume and >5% price increase.
