Interesting day.........to say the least. I guess this respite was in order, but I don't think there was too much pain for most folks, as many are sitting on large paper profits, and they're not fearful enough yet to sell.

3 or 4 days like this though, and real FUD starts, and this might become a trend.

Of course, if it were not for INTC and YHOO to save the day, the two darling sectors (tech, internets...) should get right back on track...probably without missing a beat (OK....they'll miss a little beat, but no heart attack is forthcoming...).

Best to all. I took more CMGI gains off the table today. The low at 87 and change was a great opp. I happened to be "in a meeting" at that time, and missed it. I would have been a buyer, for sure.

ho ho, I saw the same article and took it as a buy signal. Would have been nice to buy INTC at 70 when Fleck and Tice pounded on it in Barrons w/ a similar article saying it was headed to 35, eh?

I've never known Barron's to make a timely call.
