Patrick,

I think you've nailed why LSI trades so lifelessly. In a word visibility. Nobody really knows LSI well enough to go out on a limb for it like they do with INTC. How many times have we seen analysts go out on a limb for INTC or even MU in those rare times when clearly they don't really have any direct knowledge of earnings or revenues only to be proven right. Based on their history of coming through, it's just turned out to be a safe bet. LSI does not have the visibility of revenues or earnings to warrant that kind of loyalty and risk taking by analysts. Until we get it, it'll be hard to sustain any wind in LSI's sails.
