Hi Stephen, re: the sledgehammer approach to testing pole integrity, you ask: "You did mean for that story to be funny, didn't ya? " Well, I tell ya. It depends on the context and venue in which you find yourself at the time that you read it. I expected that some folks would relate, and some would find it funny, and some would simply think that I had a screw loose for posting it.
