Wasn't the illegals' a large part of Bob Dornan's challenge of the voting results in California in '96 ? I don't think Dornan's people could *document* enough illegal votes to change the outcome but, that doesn't mean it didn't happen in large numbers.

In the Nov. '98 elections, when they check the electoral lists, members of the commission refused to look at my voter registration card or passport. Only the driver's license ...
