Tim, CSCO doesn't need any of these companies. CSCO made their frame/ATM play 2 years ago with Stratacom, and although they would have done better with Cascade, Stratacom has hardly been a bust.

ALA is more on target. Only problem with them is that there stock price (ie, buying currency) is in the gutter. Perhaps they can afford XYLN, and maybe FORE, but not NN. XYLN makes more sense given the existing relationship, although since they bought Packet Engines, this relationship is now dwindling.

Suitors for NN could include Siemens (most likely), or ERICY.
