I did not see Prospector's Alliance on any of the Recording forms registered with the minisitry but it is possible that some of the independents have dealt with them and the transfers have not been registered as is often the case. They would be in there on that rumour. One thing that lends credence to that is the fact that Bonhomme has his name on a couple of the claims in the township. It is still at rumour status so far but there is a lot of activity for a mere rumour. It cost money to take claims and acquire them and Opawica has spent a wad of cash acquiring in the area and about $50,000 or more has been spent on staking by some others, perhaps more.

Individuals don't just do that on unconfirmed BS. I know how deep the pocket books of some of the stakers is and I can tell you that the leak has to have some meat on it. I think the lack of specifics is due to protection of the people who leaked it. If it were specific in a certain way it would point to a geologist and in another way to a driller. This keeps it quiet as to whom, so that is thinking. If it were a driller who saw chalco and blackjack a lot of people would discount the quality of the rumour and that is where it would stay. But the locals would know better and move. If it were a geologist then the assays would be more specifically stated but perhaps not. If Bonhomme staked and bought claims he would have gotten some meat with the potatoes before moving. They are not that cash rich either in PALL.

Some people do not know about it but others have heard it from several geologists who are independent and quite a few stakers. I had heard it in December and once again. If it is a major discovery then it must be in Falconbridge or Noranda, who have held ground in Reid for up to 12 years as by now a junior would have had to announce.
