Actually what they need is what CKFR offers. Online bill paying. That's why I still need my bank. If EGRP offered that, I wouldn't need my current bank.

I was thinking more of a direct debit from the ETRADE account for things purchased from partner retail vendors. Or a direct debit from the ETRADE VISA for those who have it. Since the account#s are linked, no need to enter it.

Regarding the short position in Etrade, I just checked again the Marketguide report. Institutions now own 68%, insiders 23% leaving about 5 million real free float. There are 7 million shares short.
I would imagine the fund managers are probably not selling because of the bullish outlook, and because if they sell, they would have to find another better Internet value.

The volume and the size of the trades in the last few days spell some more institution buying. We may just go up to the moon before we split.
