Let me give this a shot. 1st: the split was NOT pre-announced but was definitely expected.
2nd: the whisper #'s on the low end were .21 with .25-.26 on the high end. Crazy, yes, but hey it's all about numbers. Your guess is as good as anyone's about tomorrow at this point.
Techs in general should have a significant bounce given INTC's blowout earnings. Another thing to consider is that the "experts" are saying that the Inuts are being driven not by institutional investors but rather by the little guys. With that in mind, YHOO's numbers might look extra special and have a nice pop.
I watched very carefully as the daytraders manipulated SEEK's price very successfully esp. early and made a killing, I'm sure. I knew it was going to happen and I wish I had the cajones to pull the trigger, sell, buy back and sell again, but I was, like I'm certain others were as well, worried that I'd miss a big spike up and miss the train. Oh well... Hope to make some $$ tomorrow!
