I believe ATHM may eventually succeed because of AT&T's muscle. It would be very hard for ATHM without T's backing. It would be T's money to upgrade TCI's cable everywhere. I heard that T is going to spend 2 billion for that. My worry is that AT&T/TCI is not acting fast enough to upgrade the cable, that eventually slowing down ATHM's business. Meanwhile competitors like GTE, SBC and Bell Atlantic is grabbing the market fast. 1999 will be a pivotal year for the success of ATHM. I really hope they act FAST.
