Apratim,

Maybe from a value standpoint you might have Chuzz look into CMGI. Might be more up you alley.

Good Luck,

Voltaire

Apratim, (or is it now Tim <g>)

** OT **

I have invested in AOL because I think that this company is the cless of the portals, especially in view of its merger with NSCP and partnership with Sun. I haven't had a chance to examine YHOO's results, so I'll pass on that. In terms of AMZN, the company is a house of cards because it appears to me that variable costs exceed revenues. In addition, the recent news indicates that they will need to build additional distribution sites (in Arizona, I believe). I think it is only the high market cap which allows them to stay afloat, suing stock sales and stock value to support borrowings. Look at BKS as a viable alternative. This is a financially sound company.

In spite of being an investor in AOL I am very nervous about valuation issues. I sold Feb 175 calls yesterday against my long position (a rare stroke of good timing!). It's awfully heady finding yourself up around 48% in just a few weeks when the only driver is that you have been added to the S&P500.

TTFN,
CTC
