Tomorrows the big day for DNR division to go bye bye..Selling off all equipment from the ill-fated venture into snowboarding. The DNR manufacturing equipment cost Marker $3.5 mil in 1996 when it was newly purchased and they hope to garner at least $500K from the auction of it. If you want to check out the auction it's going to be held live on line at www.capitalrecoverygroup.com Latest filing shows Marker taking a loss of $26 mil or $2.34 a share to dispose of the DNR factory..Other information you may find helpful, I did. Peter Weaver Marker's new CEO was given a $300K salary/yr for five years with "incentives" to turn the company around.. These incentives are in the form of stock options to purchase 900K shares over the next two years at $.50 per.. He said in an interview .."It should be clear to Marker's investors and shareholders that I am committed to managing Marker in their best interests because that's the only way I can create value out of this agreement."Well said, Mr Weaver, in my estimation and MHO Mr. Weaver's looking to sell shares of Marker in the future and take home a healthy sum of doe-ray-me..The only way he's going to pull that off is by bringing MRKR back from the depths.
It's going to take some time, IMO two years of profitability, but I feel they're going to pull it off.Taking on shares of MRKR at these levels, ride out the storm for it's duration, Weaver's going to leave any money on the table..

Can skiing be any better in Chicago ? Was in Stowe last weekend it dumped 15" of the freshest eastern fluff that I've seen in along time...

Good Luck All,
