The guy Passmore, quoted in the article, still doesn't get
it. He's stuck in this ATM vs. IP mindset, as though the
trend toward a converged IP network is bad for ATM, when in reality
ATM is the ideal layer 2 technology for carrying IP traffic
ALONG WITH all the other types of traffic in the converged
network.
