James:
How do you come up with a maximum value of $30. That is out of line for any established reseller of books etc. Unless you are assuming they take 50+% of the total book business while borders and barnes sit on their thumbs. Your $5 valuation is much closer to what I have determined. For disclosure, I am long Jan year 2000 puts.

In line with the analysts comments, I rarely see an analyst downgrade when a stock is moving up. Now when it bottoms, that is another thing.

James,

Greed already run its course. Fear is now taking over.
I expect a great day today.

AMZN technical support looks like as follwos:

First at $110, then $90, then $60, and finally $25.

I doubt it will go to $25 anytime soon. But I do expect it to test $60
level in 3 month.
