I think we'll just have to wait and see over the next couple of days for clarification on the details of intel's cap exp plans.

In the conference call, Intel stated '99 spending on fab equipment will be approximately the same as '98, there will be no $500M fab purchases, less will be spent on buildings and factories, and less will be spent on test and assembly.
