That would be me, Lee. Hi guys, been away but I'll catch up with the board shortly. The good news is that I'm now a dues-paying, card-carrying AXC-er! Bought enough shares that--if it doesn't work out--I can quit my day job and set up the "Historic Ampex Stock Certificate" department at eBay! Bidding will start at $9.95 per copy (take-up reel available at extra cost!). (Accepting 'sell-orders' from the group, but mine go first! Any questions?) Nice moves since year-end! BAM

<< Given the nature of her job and the painfully obvious and continuing conservatism that Ampex has toward releasing any news about anything, I would expect that Karen would never, never even hint about anything that might be going on. In fact, I would fully expect that any comments that she might make would be slanted in the opposite direction - even towards being negative. ........... As I see it, someone - or some company - has decided to start accumulating some shares at very attractive low prices. For what reason - who knows?
