hmmm...canada and mexico are U.S. biggest trading partners...one might think that Mexico is a buy somewhere in here for its gold and oil...also Chile..and Belize as tax haven. Soros is heavy owner of a south american REIT IRSA (ticker IRS). I guess maybe mexico and chile are commodities plays, other than that I kinda think utilities and the U.S. spacecraft transponder leasing folks are a good way to play growth in S.A...still a big need for basic infrastructure.
My view of the world is a bit warped, tho..
I think the Dow is dead meat...the age of the Industrials is dead.
This is the age of the Utilities....reliable service
And the internet will find its place in the Utilities sector
