No matter what they do..announce a dividend, a stock split, a cusip change, a reverse, a symbol or name change..it doesnt matter and it means nothing to a short trader..the only place it matters is when you are trying to manipulate a short by intimidating him or her and by trying to get someone to buy who clearly believes its going lower,, The mental factor..is the only thing it does ,....many people acutually believe this nonsense but none of these things actually means anything
