MUNDELEIN, Ill., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Bio-logic Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: BLSC - news), a
designer and marketer of computerized medical electro- diagnostic equipment, today announced
that it has been awarded a contract by Boston Children's Hospital worth approximately $1.4
million. The contract encompasses the purchase of Bio-logic's comprehensive family of
neurodiagnostic systems including long-term epilepsy monitoring, clinical EEG, ambulatory
EEG, polysomnography, and intraoperative evoked potential monitoring as well as reader
stations in multiple locations.

Under the contract, Bio-logic will provide a state-of-the-art, integrated clinical
neurophysiology laboratory. The clinical neurophysiology laboratory installation combines
laboratory, portable and home monitoring systems, all networked to provide convenient access
to patient records from multiple locations in order to maximize efficiency and quality of
patient care.

Boston Children's Hospital is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and is considered to be one
of the premier pediatric neurology centers in the country. Bio-logic was one of several
companies competing for this contract. ''Our company was founded on the idea that our systems

Bio-logic Systems Corp., headquartered in Mundelein, Ill., designs, develops, assembles and
markets computer-based electro-diagnostic systems for use by hospitals, clinics, universities
and physicians. The systems conduct tests that are typically used by medical practitioners to
aid in the diagnosis of certain neurological, psychiatric and sensory disorders, psychological
and learning disorders, brain disorders and tumors.
