To Frank: ***OT**** There is an SI Terayon thread. Not very active but some background there. Note Bernard Levy, who I respect, is highly skeptical of TERN - i.e. doesn't expect the company to survive. :-) So risky in the extreme. I am in BRCM and TERN since both were chosen to develop the new broadband modems by the org handling that. My original interest came from my long time association with Cisco and Qualcomm. Cisco bought into Terayon early on. And I have been interested in CDMA through QCOM. BTW there is no connection between QCOM and TERN as best I can determine. Both use spread spectrum but the Q's is for wireless and the S CDMA of TERN is separate and distinct for wires. I like to hedge my bets - hence BRCM and TERN. Yes up to now Terayon sells overseas primarily since S CDMA most useful where lines are noisy and system old. Once new standards used here, when BRCM and TERN fulfill their assignment from the cable broadband outfit which contracts for the new standards (can't remember the name of the outfit), who knows? Thanks will look at COM21. Best. Chaz
