Ya..................that's what I was afraid of................I'll take a look at the action in the first half an hour and make a decision. I was going to buy some protective puts, but wanted to wait till we got a little closer to earnings. No way this thing drops 5 points though, not with good news around the corner.

K...Where do you place a sell order when you don't know where the open will be, unless it is a market order?

Occasionally, days like this, CPQ swims upstream......sort of a
"flight to quality".......not that it's today, but one never knows!
Good news around the corner might make CPQ a safe place to park some cash, along with INTC of course.

Hiya K/Richie...

Globex looks pretty dismal...

S&P 500 MAR99 1224.10 -2700
E-MINI MAR99 1224.25 -2675
JUN99 1236.00A -2700
NSDQ100 MAR99 1917.00A -4200

(As of now - 08h34)

I am hoping that CPQ will show some solid resistance to a large drop.
Else I might just follow you K, and try and get back in for a lower
cost basis.

What value did you put your sell order in for?
