Voltaire, this is very serious news. Brazil is much more important to the US than Russia. It is the largest SA economy. US banks have huge SA exposure. The potential for burgeoning economic problems is tremendous.

What really scares me is that the US markets have rebounded so sharply from the opening. I am seriously considering going to 100% cash. I am a buy and hold investor, but this news sends shivers up and down my spine.
