A couple days ago I noticed that the NFCU bill pay site was slow (part of www.mybills.com). This message appeared yesterday:

Attention Members:

We recently have been experiencing unexpected problems with the performance of our new Web Bill Pay service. These problems are being caused by the volume of activity on the system and are resulting in the system running unacceptably slow at times. We are working with CheckFree, our Web Bill Pay service provider, to address this situation. Several enhancements will be made over the next two weeks which should significantly enhance access to this service.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please be assured that your experience is not indicative of the quality which we strive to render to our members. Every effort is being made to provide you with the prompt and efficient service to which you are entitled as a member of Navy Federal.


The site seems to be much faster today, so hopefully they will keep on top of these capacity issues, the www.mybills.com web site looks like it will have a lot of traffic, considering First Union, Schwab, NFCU, and other use it.
