It looks to me that E-trade only upgrades the equipment for the so-called Power E-trade, which only serves for frequent traders who trade at least 30 times a month or so. So the rest of the customers are screwed. I think that is why you don't see many people complaining here.

"How can a CEO go on TV and say there is no problems. THERE are many problems. Why say there is not?? " Unfortunately, this is the kind of behavior that results when we have a US President (Klintoon) who is willing to lie under oath to serve his own interests as opposed to doing the right thing. Instead of acknowledging that there are problems, here we have a CEO who is willing to lie to cover-up systems problems that would otherwise dissuade the inflow of new customers so vital to their profitability. Until there is a mass exodus of accounts, this will continue. DD
