The way it was described to us ( I was in the Cub Scouts) was more ominous. It was part bird and a part fox-like creature. You had to avoid it's beak bite. At one point during our attempts to flush one out with the noise, our troop leader yelled out, "Someone's been bitten. RUN!" And we ran like hell, back to our camp, and back to the to the safety of our tents. We were later assured that the boy had been taken to the hospital, and would recover... And so will we..., I assume... Al
