The oils are coming back- and I would urge any of you who have not considered the service sector to perhaps consider adding one or two stocks now. I like the leaps on HAL, SDC, and Do myself, and the stock of TMAR, FLC (Soros bought this one), GLM, and FIG. I would also consider RON and RIG, RDC (missed earnings I think) ATW, and several others- keep an eye on their debt, where they are operating, who they have contracts with, and how good they are in their relative industries. If it were me (and it is me actually as I am now overweighted in this area) I'd get a good mix of big and medium caps.

Some brokerages have upgraded this sector others urge avoidance- when they all upgrade you won't be getting in at the bottom anymore. I think while the confusion over value remains in this sector- their is the potential to make some very good investments. Do your own DD- lots of info out there on this sector- check out the strictly drillers thread for a really good discussion.
