LindyBill, The warning they gave was just the "standard" seasonal one. It is just being dismissed as routine comments. I heard part of the conference call yesterday and one of executives admitted that they had a lot of orders outstanding but they never know what will happen later in the quarter (I don't remember the exact comments but i think they address it early in the conference call Q and A session).

I sold all my CSCO and almost all of my MSFT shares due to my options exposure. This is the first time I have sold during a big downturn in the market (at low prices). Just got defensive. Sitting on a lot of cash and a lot of MSFT options. The reason I sold off CSCO was the Lucent deal and not knowing too much about CSCO --- I just decided to get out. Once I am out of my options, hopefully next week---plan to get back in CSCO for the earnings run up (which will probably be already in progress)
