Phillip, Well things are hoppin' here. 1. The UPS guy just showed up with my external "pure" SCSI Zip drive. Sure enough, both ends of the cable have 25 pin connectors.About the SCSI Connector: The Installation Guide says "if your has a 50 pin SCSI connector: Use a 25 to 50 pin SCSI cable or cable converter to connect the Zip drive. If you need a cable or converter, call your Iomega dealer or 1-800-MY-STUFF." No problem, I'll just go out and buy a 25 - 50 pin cable converter like the one shown in your photograph.About SCSI Termination: The Installation Guide says "You can also connect the Zip drive to the end of an existing SCSI chain by using a 25 to 50 pin SCSI cable or by using a cable converter with the Zip data cable. When connecting the Zip drive to other SCSI drives, check the SCSI Guidelines in the Zip User's Guide to make sure the SCSI ID and termination on your Zip drive are set correctly." Piece of cake...I'll just do what the Zip User's Guide says. 2. Back to the Agfa ePhoto 1680 camera saga. I just checked a while ago, and the vendor that was offering the camera for $709 + $23 shipping just lowered his price to $688 for the camera. This can be found by getting into www.pricewatch.com and, while on the main page, clicking on "digital cameras". When the next page comes up, Agfa is highlighted. Just click again at the bottom of the little window where Agfa is highlighted. A whole list of Agfa stuff will come up. At the bottom, click on page 2 and there it is!! A listing from Best Stop Digital in New York (1-800-339-8357) with the price at $688. I immediately called and asked them if they had the Agfa ePhoto 1680 camera in stock. They said they did so I ordered the camera. Bottom line....they charged me $688 for the camera plus $22 for shipping for a total of $710. The only thing that sounded strange to me at the very end of the conversation was, the guy said it would take about 3 - 4 weeks to get the camera. That tells me they don't have the camera in stock! Actually, I don't really care...I'm in no hurry anyway......I just wanted the free Clik! drive. *g* Considering the fact that (in my mind) the free Clik! drive bundle is a $265 value if bought locally ($250 + 6.25% sales tax), I feel that I got the camera for $445. For $445, I can live with any deficiencies sited by other, more knowledgeable, people that know a whole lot more about digital cameras than I do. One person I've been talking to doesn't like the LCD viewfinder (not optical). However, the guy that conducted a very detailed review, for which I supplied a link in an earlier post on this thread, thought this was a "non-event" and even thought the Agfa was better in low-light conditions (I think it has back-lighting for the LDC display) whereas you could barely see anything in an optical viewfinder. Throw in the fact that IOM is trading up today (at least at the moment), all-in-all a pretty good day so far. Dave
