Your mother's womb belongs to her- she does not have the obligation to have you in it. That is a justifiable opinion. Reasonable people can disagree on this- unreasonable people call the other side murderers and take up arms.

There are many conditions under which it is justified to take another human life. Our society sets the rules for the criminal taking and the non-criminal taking of a human life. The doctor does not commit a crime unless the action is criminal. As far as I know Biblical law is not the law of our land.

What would we do with all these babies unwanted by their mothers? Are you willing to take several? I am not. While I would not have an abortion myself, I do not want to take the child of someone who wants to have one, nor do I want to pay for the State to raise that child. Just what are YOU willing to do?

Other than rant.

Bob you make too damn many assumtions in your
statements. First of all a fetus is not a living soul.
It is a living orgamism but even your unreliable
bible says with the breath a fetus becomes a living
soul.

Your religion has killed millions more than beneficent
doctors who perform this service.

The fact you cannot see the difference is easily explained with your ignoranmce and badgering others.

A mother's womb is the most dangerous place on the planet? What idiotic and emotional rhetoric is this? Your presumption of perfect knowledge and absolute morality is terrifying. Weren't you the one who wrote that man can err in his interpretation of God's will, and that we were wrongly blaming God for man's fallibility when we point out the terrible deeds done in the name of Christianity?

Are you so smug in your beliefs that you would sit in judgment on anyone in any way connected with a clinic- the clerks, the nurses, the innocents who just happen to be there when the bombs go off or a bullet goes awry--and never wonder if you may be committing the sin of arrogance by judging them? You watch them die and feel no sympathy because why? You have declared them deserving of death according to your interpretation of God's law and you approve of the execution?

Isn't that for God to judge, Bob, a fact that those who have taken the law into their own hands seem to have conveniently forgotten? To make even a vague statement in support of these terrorists places you squarely in the camp of the irrational fanatic; your unprotesting acceptance, even implied approval, of their acts makes you an accessory to murder, as guilty as they. Do you think not pulling the trigger absolves you of the crime when you stand there and exude pious agreement with their actions, condemning people of whom you have no real knowledge? There is a vast chasm between believing that abortion is wrong and doing all you can legally or with loving personal actions to eradicate the need for it and printing a hit list of people who need to be destroyed

In a perfect world, all babies would have a mommy and a daddy who loved them, who had the means to support them, who were mature enough to raise responsible, ethical children. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have people committing murder and destroying lives, sometimes completely innocent ones, in the name of God.
