Colin, I would PM you but can't do it with IE 5? I can respond.

You don't need that $800 crap... spend $79...for a good trident card...$200 for a 17" monitor. You can spend more for video cards if you like...not a big difference unless your into games. Go to excite classifieds you can find new cards cheap...Matrox, Riva tnt etc.

Your win98 remembers how you set up your desktop. No need for any other software. I have tradewind charts on both monitors whatever size I want or however many I want. I have had 3 monitors going. Thats a lot of desktop to work with!

PM me if you need to know more...no setup needed win98 detects 2nd 3rd 4th card and monitor.

Colin; there is discussion of multiple monitors on the Dream Machine thread. It's a very tech-oriented thread (ie over my head), but they're good about sharing info on specific questions. I have 2 monitors on separate inexpensive cards, not enough slots for any more cards; decided to get a new tower with more slots rather than spend money for a 4 monitor card. So I get more speed, power & all those good things. JMO. If you have a brand new PC, that would not be the way to go.
Wondering if you gave up on Realtick? I have SE online prepaid & casting about for a new broker, so interested in anyone's comments on the difficulties of RT (not keen on paying a whole bunch for Realtick when what I really need is a new broker!) Also, what about order-routing? Or did you not go with MB? Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks. d.alexander
