Clearly the storage business is excellent. Just wondering out loud if LSI has any other small companies that it supplies in the Fibre Channel business such as Q-Logic. Now there's a Fibre Channel Stock that has skyrocketed in the past twenty weeks: techstocks.com

Just returned from the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas....only one word to describe.....WOW!!!!!! My first time at this event. Digital everywhere...phones, tv, settop boxes, dvd....some very unbelievable stuff! I spent some time at LSI's exhibit. The exhibited their chip solutions and designs for their consumer products like playstation, dvd cameras, etc. I talked to their reps for awhile. I tried to get some inside info on next playstation. They were cautious to say anything but I got the feeling that they may have a bigger piece of it than orginally believed. One rep said the current processor in playstation would be backward compatible. I took that to mean that LSI would do the processors again. Another said that their is a deal brewing with Thompson electronics that he couldn't comment on. The main thing I got from the show was that companies like LSI are going to be big players in the future of consumer technology. Lsi is going to provide the application solutions for all this wonderful technology! I was very encouraged! Todays stock price/upgrades affirms my conviction that I'm in the right stock! GO LSI!
