I respectfully submit that JAVA continues to add to the bottom line in ways that most can't comprehend. The most significant issue with JAVA is that it continues to spread the "word" for SUNW. Many people had never heard of SUNW before JAVA. Many people still don't know who SUNW is, but that is changing at a very rapid pace.

People who are narrow minded can't understand what JAVA adds to SUNW. Yes, the more companies license JAVA, the more SUNW makes. The more people rally around JAVA, the more SUNW's vision of the future continues to come true.

Having lots of fun......BTW, if I were you I would short at 100 for 2 or 3 points.

JMO,
Michael

SUNW currently trading a little over $100/shr. I am wondering if our good friends on the short side - such as Dale Js of the market with absolutely no clue about the new era of computing - have started to cover yet and is that the reason we see the rise in the price. Or is it simply because of the anticipated blow out earnings and a 2-1 split announcement that will be announced (hopefully) by the end of this month.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

Let's be honest Dale.. Are you really short SUNW or are you just blowing smoke up everyone's butt on this thread? If you were truly short SUNW, at todays price, you either:

a) have gobs of dough and don't care about losing lots on SUNW

or

b) must be totally blind/deaf about what the market is currently saying about SUNW

Have fun!!!

Does this announcement [Java TV API industry support] add anything to the bottom line?

On its own, no. But what it does is hold out the strong possibility of Java TV becoming the standard application environment for digital television (which would probably pull a boatload of other appliances along with it) such that ten years from now every television sold will have a JVM in it, not to mention all the related SUNW technology which might also find its way inside the box. Hmmm, that could represent a bit of revenue...
