Bob you are such an idiotic zealot. I actually believe it is a child. I am actually against abortion. BUT I do not call the doctors murderers, nor are they part of some abortion industry. You poor ignorant man- "they" do not WANT to perform abortions. They are gynecologists and are MUCH happier delivering babies to people who want them, or treating women for venereal disease, or doing pelvic exams, or giving their clients birth control counseling (whish as you know PREVENTS the NEED for abortion so you MUST be for this- correct?) You are the evil one. You are as bad as Emile- you just want to kill different people. Evil Evil Evil- I pray to whatever Gods there may be, if there are any, to allow you at some point before your death to see the blackness of your own heart.

I think (hope?) everyone could do without the ad hominem attacks, Bob. (And X... yeesh!) For the record, I agree with you about abortion's immorality, though we probably have different views on the minutia and different reasoning.

I was considering rambling on about the topic, whether a fetus is included in the category of living beings, and other gobbledygook, but my opinions aren't fully considered or congealed, and I am far from well educated as yet. (Not that that totally invalidates my opinion, or does it?)

Ugh. Anyway, no one here is a mindless industry trained zombie. Except for this Galt character maybe.

Bob, Bob, Do you just make these things up?
I was a Social Service worker for years. There is no shortage of children. There is a shortage of healthy, Caucasian newborns whose parents have at least average intelligence and no terrible diseases and could we have that in writing, please. That's what all your eager adoptive parents want. They want a baby they can save by molding in their own image, they want guarantees and they sometimes want to return a child who doesn't make the grade. There are many, many children who languish in foster care and temporary placements because no one wants a child with problems, who's older, who's no longer as attractive and full of promise.

Before you condemn the choices made by frightened, or desperate, or defeated women, before you damn the counselors and doctors who are doing their best to help them, how about you get raped, you bear a child you know you can't bear to give up, but have no ability to raise, you take a drug-addicted baby, a child doomed to death because he is HIV positive, an emotionally disturbed teenager who was raped and beaten by her step-father. Let's give those children homes and love first. And when you do that, maybe we can talk about responsibility. But right now, reading your unbelievably callous words about "going to the trouble of getting pregnant, then take the responsibility" has left me so aghast at your limited view, I just want to cry in frustration.

Now maybe you would do all these things, perhaps you already have, but you know what, I don't think you have. For all the emotion-laden, noble speeches that fall so easily from the lips of well-intentioned Christians, when it comes right down to it, they can protect their homes, their own children, their wallets, their personal pleasures as selfishly as any pagan. I don't condemn them for this; but why do they feel so justified in condemning others?

Bob:

The simple fact is that the woman's rights are SUPREME. Since you do not understand that, you must not understand the philosophical basis that our Founding Fathers built this country on.

Do you really comprehend the Declaration of Independence, The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights?
