Yes, I saw your posts (and edited my original post). Most people will think that the difficulties in accessing Schwab are based on network congestion. More often than not, it is the server (Schwab's in this case) that is causing the delay and not congestion on the network. I was going to set up my trades last night, but did not get in til late. Shame on me.

All in all a good day, but I am convinced that I need to find a new online broker.

judy, i had trouble w. market makers. i give them higher then ask and they will not execute my orders aol and yahoo leaps.

i had to pay nearly 5 bucks more on aol then i started with.
and i have up on yhoo and finally just put in limit orders to buy.
