JDN: It's the big banks like Chase and Citibank that have to play ball with U.S. foreign policy interests... As a payback, they were bailed out in the late 80's with a big spread between the FED Funds rate and the rates they charged their customers... I wouldn't shed any tears for them... They have so much money in play that their voice is heard loud and clear in Washington... After all is said and done, you and I wind up footing the bill for the Foreign Policy induced loans... Jim
