Possibly. But it is the Republicans that are supposedly the "moral" guys and lamenting the "moral decay" of America. That makes them not just adulterers, but also adulterous hypocrites. And to many people, hypocrisy ranks way up there -- much, much higher than incompetence or adultery -- in the list of things that they detest most.
