Z - ***OT***

My small world of experience shows on tough days(like today) ETerd sucks, Ameriterd sucks as well. Both are basically locked solid on line and I'm usu put on hold on the phone. It never feels fast enough. On the bright side, if you speak to someone in person and complain you can get the on-line costs.

**OT**RE--discount broker with easy access and good executions.

Afraid that when you have high-volume days like today, probably all the discount brokers are hard to get thru to (on-line), and the trade executions are often sloppy.

The discount brokers keep saying how much they are improving access and everything else all the time. But posters on SI are continuously reporting that access can be poor to unavailable when traffic gets heavy.

There are several threads on SI that focus on discount brokers. You can spend as much time (or more, really) reading about the discount brokers on these threads than you can read about SEG, WDC, QNTN, APM, RDRT, HTCH, or any other of our favorite stocks.

Some of the threads that focus on short-term trading also (on an irregular basis) mention different discount brokers and their problems and possible advantages.

Basically, you choose a discount broker based on your trading style, cost structure, etc. versus what the broker offers. No broker is perfect.

Regards,

Larry
