I can't imagine Clinton getting within ten blocks of Larry Flynt given the current climate.

OK, what if Clinton did meet Larry Flynt and said exactly what you suggest, and then Flynt told him that he marches to his own drummer? What do you think the Repubs will say then?

The ONE thing that the Repubs could have done to prevent Flynt from saying anything damaging about them was to practice what they preached! Well, it is quite obvious now that they haven't! And so, they are reaping what they sowed. It is ridiculous for them to now come and make suggestions/demands that Clinton speak to Larry Flynt.
