Just wanted to praise God for His mercy in some financial matters recently. Had one car toward the end of last year that I put considerable time in to fix myself to save some money -- no sooner did I get it on the road and the other car is dead in the water at the same time my wife needs some expensive dental work, all this around Christmas First part of this week I gave up on the 2nd car and had it towed to the garage. Got a call later that said it needed a new head gasket. I thought to myself that seems early -- doesn't even have 100K miles, yet. Today the garage calls and lets me know it is something much simpler and much less costly and it is fixed. This right after I had been talking to the Lord about problems I'd been having with being a constant complainer. What's it say in Matt about the appropriateness of his gifts vs. ours and God's timeliness in answering prayer? -- not that I needed that confirmed, but I'm so glad He reminded me! Praise God!
