Today made it clear to me that this market does not go DOWN until the "average" investor perceives a personal threat. Obviously nothing that happens outside of the US will constitute that threat. A couple I do see as possible: 1) impeachment of their beloved president 2) retirement or death of AG, their savior, or 3) the media is able to refocus their attention from the stock market to the Y2K problem. I do not believe events in another country will change their focus. IMHO homer
