>>should get behind him

Get behind him about what? I have read every post on this board for weeks and have never seen Tim explain what it is he wants SI to do for him...according to Tim unless they do whatever it is, he is gone. All we get to hear is Tim telling us that he is leaving, which I gather has to do with a beef with TM. But whare are we supposed to get behind? support him to what end? tell him that we like him and hope he stays?....if he is demanding something from SI, and he tells us what he is demanding, and why, and if we agree with him, then we should get behind him....without the information there is nothing to "get behind"....

Just my three cents.

CJR,

I agree with your sentiments. Tim has been helpful to many on this thread and deserves a degree of loyalty and support. However, as far as I am concerned, TM is invisable. Although I have heard a great deal about the antics that take place on his thread, I have never been there. Don't care to.

From my perspective TM is the neighborhood bully on the other side of the block. Although it is unfortunate that he abuses people on his turf, he better beware when he's on mine. To my knowledge, TM has not been a major problem on Tim's thread. Correct me if I have missed something.

What I do find terribly unfortunate in all of this, is that Tim would allow himself to be pushed out over this. His cause is true and Tim will undoubtedly have a great site elsewhere, but TM wins the war. Just my opinion from the modest information I have.

Regards, DW
