Don't get me wrong, I'm not a short. I just try to take advantage of the volatility in both directions. Let's just say that right now there's much more room to the down side than up. Many of the market leaders were up today or only nicked just a little, but breadth was negative 2 to 1 on the NAZ and 3 to 2 on the NYSE. Most of the panics, like when DELL hit 40 this summer, have been led off by safety-buying of the big names. When people realize that they're not even safe in those, then the real movement comes. There is a strong possiblity that this will be more or less over by Monday, but there's an equal chance it will get worse. I will likely be mostly in cash over the weekend. Rich
