NETE is not your standard pie in the sky internet stock.

But, I'm sure it is being helped along by the internet mania.
You can tell by looking at the average trade size that
the internet momentum investor types are starting to
discover NETE, and day trading it.

But, a couple of days ago, the thing that started all of the
recent activity was large block orders in the 50,0000 share
range that pushed things up past 5 1/2. It is likely that
this was institutional.

NETE software is used in administrating the web security needs
of all of the other internet E-Commerce stocks that
are the doubling and splitting seemingly weekly. With
customers like that, they should do fine. And, with the Netscape
deal, the sky is the limit.

I'm selling my shares at $20 and buying a helicopter (a small one) :-).

Onward and upward.

Hello,

Earlier this week, Steve Case stated at the DLJ Internet Investment Conference, in San Francisco, that AOL decided to purchase Netscape because a flood of corporations had asked AOL to get them up and running as e-commerce sites, during 1998.

So how does that relate to NETE? Well, according to a recent Aberdeen research report, some 65% of Web sites have Netscape technology at the heart of them. What is so compelling about Netscape Web Site technology is their user directory feature.

During the second 1/2 of 1998, Netscape hosted corporate marketing events with Netegrity. Netscape would show off their directory based Web software and then they would show how their directory technology could be totally empowered by using SiteMinder, in conjunction with it. Key sales were made to the Federal government and corporations. The marketing program was a great success for both companies.

Netegrity invented a new class of Web security software and Netscape is happy to now market it for them, Worldwide....on a non-exclusive basis, because it makes their directory technology better. Netegrity has graduated to the big leagues, this week.

Just food for thought.
