<<Politically, I'd say that's something you'll have trouble taking to the bank.>>

Keep in mind 2/3 majority poll figures represents what the people of the country want at a given moment. It is an attitude survey not a measure of right and wrong. All kinds of things can and do move the people to change their attitudes over time. The seriousness of this episode has not sunk in for the general public (who continually point to the economy, not clintons leadership, as what they are comfortable with).

The public is fickle. I'm in Colorado, home of the World Champion Denver Broncos. Here we have quarter back John Elway proclaimed the greatest athlete in football a few years ago when we were finalists at the Super Bowl. The Broncos lost their first attempt and the Greatest athlete in the World went from the pinnacle of greatness to the depths of dopeyness overnight in the public view. In this case it was definately a cruel and unwarranted blow from the public. The guy's skills were great and they didn't change from one day to the next. Just the attitude of the public.

I would seriously encourage you to step back and take a good look at your champion. Are you going to feel the same way when the country takes a dip? We are due. If his leadership were founded on strong ethics and integrity it would be tough. In this case, however, with the whole World voicing their disdain for the Nation of liars, where will you turn?
